Hello friends, we all use smartphones like Android and iPhone. But majority of Android smartphones are still in use. Android has 96% -98% of all smartphones in India And 85% -86% of the world's smartphones have Android. Do you know who discovered the android smartphone ?, when ?& where? it can be researched? Android was discovered in October 2003 by four researchers; " Rubin, Rich Miner, Nick Sears and Chris" in " Palo alto and California ". But Google seized Android in 2005 because the reason why Android researchers are unable to raise money for an Android installation.
Google seized Android and released several versions of it. Whatever they are ,
1. Android version 1.0
•In October 2008, Google released Android version 1.0 for the first time on astro boy.
•This is the first time that this version has been launched on the smartphone HTC Dream (Not for public).
2. Android version 1.2
•In February 2009, Google realesed Android version 1.2 and named as Bender.
All versions that came after these two Android versions were named after under the sweet names.
3. Android version 1.5
•In April 2009, Google released Android version 1.5 and named as cupcake.
•There have been some minor changes on this version.
Features :-
*GMS support (Google mobile services) came out for the first time on this version.
*portrait and landscape mode could be turned on automatically.
*There were many other small features.
4. Android version 1.6
•In September 2009, Google realesed Android version 1.6 and named as Donnut.
Features :-
*This is the first time CDM (cash deposit machine / net banking) has come out this version.
*There were many small incremental changes.
5. Android version 2.1
•In October 2009, Google realesed Android version 2.1 and named as eclair.
Features:-
*Live Wallpapers Support are comes at first time
*Google Map and Navigation also landed on this Android version.
*Text to speech support was also present.
*There were also new-increment changes.
6. Android version 2.2
•In March 2010, Google realesed Android version 2.2 and named as Froyo.
•Froyo comes from two words frozen and yoger.
Features:-
*The first time in this version was WiFi and Passport Mobiles Support.
*Push Notification Support also came.
*Flash Light Support was also came.
*Thus many small little features have come.
•All this updates were small incremental updates and after the updates that followed were very large updates.
7. Android version 2.3
•In September 2010, Google realesed Android version 2.3 and named as Gingerbread.
Features:-
*User interference also changed.
*Changes occur in icons
*Design also changed.
*this type many big update are come in this version.
8. Android version 3.0
•In February 2011, Google realesed Android Version 3.0 and named as honeycomb.
•This version is not for small screen (below 5 or 6 inch) smartphone. This was for larger screens (above 7 inches) i.e like tablets. (Ex: - Motorola Zoom tablet)
Features:-
*Large scale designs have changed.
*for tablet, notification panel are in down rather than top.
9. Android version 4.0
•In October 2011, Google realesed Android Version 4.0 and named as Ice Cream Sandwich.
•this is basically combination of honeycomb and gingerbread.
Features:-
*those two Android versions features had been laid in this version.
*For the first time this version , Face Unlocked feature have arrived.
*And some other major updates came in this version.
10. Android version 4.1
•In June 2012, Google realesed Android version 4.1 and named as Jellybean.
•There have been some minor changes this version.
11. Android version 4.2 and Android version 4.3.
•Later in October 2012 and July 2013, Google released a small increment update on Android version 4.2 and Android version 4.3.
12. Android version 4.4
•In October 2013, Google realesed Android version 4.4 was and named as kit kat.
•This Android version was very popular at the time.
•Before this Android version came, Google was conferencing the under-the-year code name as 'key line bit'.
Features:-
*There have been many optimization features are came out on this version.
*What's special about this Android version is that the 512RAM smartphone will be running on this Android version.
13. Android version 5.0
•In second half of 2014 , Google realesed Android version 5.0 and named as Lollipop.
Features:-
*changes occur in android look and feel.
*Good designs come with it.
*There were some minor changes like that.
14. Android version 6.0
•In second half of 2015 Google's realesed Android Version 6.0 and named as Marshmallow.
•This Android version is much more affordable than all the android version that have come out now.
Features:-
*changes occur in design and also look and feel.
*Biometric finger print also arrived on this version.
*USB Type C ports are available on smartphone phones.
*Android pay also introduced in this Android version.
15. Android version 7.0
•In August 2016, Google realesed Android version 7.0 and named as naugot.
•small types of major update and stable updates introduced on this version.
Features:-
*Split Screen supporter are introduced.
*Upon this update, the smartphone's screen size was 6.4 inches.
*From earlier this version, users got a grip on Quick Switch Between Apps and Multitasking.
16. Android version 8.0
•In March 2017, Google introduced Android Version 8.0 and named as Oreo.
•The developer left a preview on this version. That was the beta version. After 3-4 months they left the beta version again. Then the stable version was left.
Features:-
*picture in picture mode are introduced.
*changes are occure in setting Meanu.
*and small small incremental updates are introduce in this version.
17. Android version 9.0 and 10
•August 2018 There, Android Version 9.0 and named as Google Pie came out.
•13 march 2019 There, Google released Android version 10.
As you know, after the lunch of these two Android version user are love it and also increase the android smartphone in the market.This Android version was introduced to many devices such as Google Tablet and Smart Watch after the release of this Android version. After the Google update, Android just added a lot of new features. Google put greater security on Android and increased the user usage. Now that Android has grown to a level, then who can go there.
